Lifetricity chose me, I was compelled to write this book after experiencing a still birth at 6 months pregnant I received a compelling message to live life now!
You see up to this point I was running myself into the ground, overworking big time with a restaurant to run as well as a college in London. Family was not on the agenda, when I fell pregnant I made no change to my lifestyle I continued in a manic fashion, essentially abusing my body leading to burnout. Even when I was hospitalised I remember having a pile of papers around my bed. I did not know how to stop as this would mean coming face to face with myself and my demons.
Managing to put on a brave face for decades the childhood abuse I had faced as a child was wearing away the little self esteem I had. Losing my child hit me like a bullet, the shock was impalpable. However this is what it took for the message to be received.
I had always been good at supporting others through their problems, giving fantastic advice but did not take care of myself in the same way. Once I had my son I knew I could not continue in the vain, I wanted to set an example for my son, not repeating limiting habits. So I set about writing Lifetricity as a legacy to my son, the world and myself. A simple personal development framework based on learning how to self-parent. Nobody teaches this stuff at school so how are you supposed to know what to do. Lifetricity presents a simplistic, accessible yet impactful framework for conducting your life.
